Using of UVT-200 Pile Compression System
Pile Compression System performs the piles sinking by jack-in method with fixed jacking force and side gripping of the sinking element (pile, pipe, rabbet, etc). There are different variants to jack-in piles: using a crane, rail track or caterpillar track.
Using the Crane:
Crane lift and set up UVT-200 Pile Compression System to the pile sinking point. Remote videosight is used to simplify the process and to provide the accuracy.
The operator of UVT-200 adjusts the machine in an exactly horizontal position with the inclinometer using the adjustment hydrocylinders.
Then, UVT-200 is loaded with the inventory counter-weights. The total weight of the UVT-200 and the counter-weights should be equal to the planned indentation force. The maximal indentation force value is set with the electronic or hydraulic catcher to prevent the UVT-200 detachment from the soil when the indentation force exceeds the total weight of the UVT-200 system and the counter-weights.
Then, the sinking pile is delivered into the UVT-200 catcher with the crane and is sunk down until the pile point touches the ground.
UVT-200 management is conducted either automatically according to the given algorithm or by the operator's commands from the remote control board.
Then the pile is caught with the UVT-200 side grips. In such a case the installation adjusts the pile in an exactly vertical position with the side drips and lifts the pile up holding it and unfastening the crane slings. Then the UVT-200 Pile Compression System indents the pile into the ground. Pile Compression System allows reaching the maximal force at once, passing the topsoil without leader drilling.
The regular block is used in order to sink the pile down to designed mark, including the case when the pile head is under the daylight surface.
Upon the completion of pile indentation, the inventory weights are unloaded. Then UVT-200 is lifted and set to the next pile sinking point with the crane and the indentation process is repeated.
Using the Rail Track:
The ground surface is flattened for the rail track, which is necessary for the proper maintenance for the rail track. The rail track is set on the piles sinking line with the crane. Then the track moving device (mobile bogie), supplied with the hydrocylinder to move the device, is set on the rail track. The hydrocylinder drive is performed from the Pile Compression System hydraulic aggregate.
UVT-200 Pile Compression System is set upon the bogie and the inventory counterweights are loaded. The UVT-200 is set on the pile sinking point by controlling the moving device. Then, the UVT-200 is adjusted in an exactly vertical position; the pile is delivered and sunk.
Pile Compression System moves to the next pile sinking point UVT-200 and counter-weights dismounting, which increases the work efficiency.
Using the Caterpillar Track:
UVT-200 is set upon the caterpillar track with the crane and fastened on it hard (the caterpillar track weight works as a counterweight). The operator places the UVT on the pile sinking point, controlling the caterpillar track with the remote controller and videosight. Then, the cycle of the UVT horizontal adjustment, pile delivering and sinking is repeated.
In case the total weight of UVT-200 and inventory weights exceeds 100 tons, then it is necessary to remove some of the inventory weights during the movement of caterpillar.
